3.5mm EVOLOX® Broad Plates
This plate is designed for heavy breeds, being 2mm wider and approximately 25% stiffer than the standard 3mm plate.
Poly-axial locking up to 20 degrees inclusive is achievable while still being able to contour the plate. This is achieved by protecting the hole with a locking plug (see locking screws) which then forces the deformed metal into the designed crumple zones (patent pending) Contouring can be in the form of 2 way axial bend or twist.
These plates have numerous applications, hence the name Osteosynthesis Plate.
Plates will accept screw sizes: 3.5mm Cortical / 3.5mm Locking
